Making a seed bed to plant veg seeds in the Spring.
  1. 15 minutes of weeding your veg garden and general tidying up every day, will pay dividends in the long run. Weeds will not get a chance to become deep rooted, clear stones which may appear on the surface. Put weeds in the brown bin not the compost heap. 
  2. Water seeds with a very fine nozzle, keep damp not sopping wet.
  3. Clear twigs and leaves off growing area.
  4. Rake soil into a fine a tilth as possible for planting seeds.
